Mission: Empower the next generation with real financial skills and accessible housing that fuel personal growth and freedom.

See our Watu Kwanza Foundation page for more details.
We are committed to bridging educational and social inequalities, supporting the Rainbow Nation vision, and providing safe, affordable accommodation for students and retirees.
WATU Group is the holding company.
WATU Kwanza (subsidiary) owns the properties (student or retirement homes).
WATU Investments (wholly owned by WATU Kwanza) issues units to investors for specific property developments.
Investors buy units in a particular project; capital is used for property acquisition and operation. Returns are paid out as annual interest and/profit-sharing with clear exit mechanisms for capital.
Our experience with Cristonia House revealed the significant costs and accreditation delays that can come with student accommodation, impacting both revenue and student access.
To overcome these hurdles, we opened the Consitina House investment opportunity to friends and family, offering attractive returns and flexible capital repayment terms (from 7 days up to 18 months).
This approach enabled us to successfully secure the property and move forward with accreditation.
The Consitina House journey has shaped our strategy for future projects: we aim to acquire properties that maximize value for both WATU and our investors, offering high interest returns and tailored capital repayment options for each development.
Our commitment remains – to be part of the solution to the student accommodation shortage, providing safe, inclusive, and sustainable housing for all.
